The next decade will see visitor numbers grow at a rate much higher than the Noosa resident population. This will have major implications and will take careful planning. We are at a crossroads, with a new Noosa Plan in the wings that will guide how our shire will look and feel over the coming decade and we need to find a balance between the sometimes competing needs of residents and the tourism industry.
