Men’s world tennis no. 1 Novak Djokovic is officially en route back to Belgrade, sensationally ruled out from playing in the Australian Open set to commence tonight. It follows a decision handed down by the Australian Federal Court late yesterday afternoon backing Immigration Minister Alex Hawke’s (subsequent) call to deport Djokovic from Australia “on health and good order grounds, on the basis that it was in the public interest to do so”.
